Here are some travel guides:
Whether you are a native Montanan or a tourist, this is a really interesting website:
Ennis Chamber of Commerce
where you will find tons of information about our town. Along with an Incredible July 4th Parade and Rodeo, we also have Art walks, a Hunters Feed (kicking off Hunting Season), Christmas Stroll, Fishing Derbies, Auctions, Art Fairs and Music Festivals.
Offers both contemporary western fine art and exquisite handmade jewelry in sterling silver and 14k gold with diamonds and gemstones.
Bernie will custom make sculptured iron gates for your Montana cabin or trophy house. Original paintings in oil, acrylic, and watercolor as well as sculptures in bronze, stone, and steel appeal to the art collector. Bernie and Lexie Sundell will help you find that "special piece" to add to your collection.
Glacier Park Information
Glacier is one of my favorite parks. If you are a hiker, don't miss the "Garden Wall" hike. It is incredible.
Virginia City is a step back in time! Check out the Virginia City Chamber of Commerce
Only about 60 miles from Ennis is the famous Yellowstone National Park. The wildlife, geysers and paintpots are AWESOME!
And speaking of Hunting and Fly Fishing in the Madison Valley....Here are some useful sites:
Beartooth Fly Fishing Lodge and Fly Shop is a fabulous resource for the novice and expert as well. Dan and Nancy Delekta are expert Fly Fishers and have an incredible inventory of clothing, equipment and flies.
The Tackle Shop is located in downtown Ennis right across from our office. John Way can get you lined up with guides and gear. He knows the river and his guides are phenomenal.
The Slide Inn - Kelly Galloup The Slide Inn is located south of Cameron in the West Fork area of the Madison River. Kelly has great accommodations and a first class fly shop. His experienced guides will get you outfitted and ready to go!
